Jerome Mandelbaum, Codex Senior Analyst and Partner, is a seasoned financial executive and analyst whose career in finance and operations spans over three decades. Mandelbaum spent ten years as a Vice President with JP Morgan Chase in their Commercial and Middle Market Division with responsibilities as a senior manager and lending officer. While at JPM/Chase he structured the firm’s first asset securitization of a non-financial product portfolio of assets.

Before joining Codex, he was CFO, Senior Asset / Portfolio and Property Manager for 601W Companies, a real estate partnership which owns and manages Class A commercial properties in New York City, San Francisco, Chicago, St. Louis, Washington DC, and other major US cities. Mandelbaum was also both CFO and COO in several ventures founded by Codex’s Managing Partner, Gary Leeds, including Screenzone Media Networks where he was also a partner.

In addition to his finance and legal background, Mandelbaum is an accomplished operating executive familiar with all aspects of running a business, from start-ups to firms generating hundreds of millions of dollars in annual revenue. In the late 80’s, Mandelbaum was selected as a program instructor in the JPM/Chase Global Credit, Finance, and Management Program. He is also a Trustee and Officer of two 501(c)(3) non-profit media and arts foundations.

Mandelbaum received an MBA in Finance and Accounting from Emory University, and a BA in Political Science and English from the State University of New York, Albany. He has two grown children and lives with his wife, Debbie, in the Metropolitan New York City area.
